AI Readiness for New Teachers in North Carolina — Teach For America x Kinwise
Kinwise partnered with Teach For America North Carolina to introduce new corps members to practical, values-aligned uses of AI in the classroom. In a 30-minute kickoff session, participants explored how AI can support lesson planning, classroom design, and family communication rooted in each teacher’s vision. Through hands-on “mini-sprints” and clear prompting models, new teachers gained confidence using AI tools to save time, plan intentionally, and communicate with clarity. In a state leading national innovation in AI education, this session offered an accessible entry point for teachers to connect technology with purpose from day one.
